New Lost Document

There is a new poster from USGS that they were giving away for free at the Geological Society of America meeting. Hopefully you can get them for distribution through the FDLP. It is titled: Bicentennial of the 1811-1812 New Madrid Earthquake sequence, December 2011- February 1212. There is an OCLC record for it (700524962). It is presently owned by the two USGS Libraries (although since I picked up a copy, WIU will own it soon too). URL: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/118/

However, it would be great if this was issued to depositories in the midwest in HARD COPY!!

Hello,

I just found this new USDA Publication on the USDA web site (and promptly reported it to AskGPO as a Lost Doc):

Atlas of Rural and Small-Town America

URL: http://www.ers.usda.gov/data/ruralatlas/

Interesting interactive mapping site. I am also adding it to our U.S. Online Atlases site at: http://www.wiu.edu/library/govpubs/maps/maps_web.sphp?id=123
